Repsol expands Venezuela portfolio with Horcon oil field

Repsol has signed agreements with the Venezuelan government to add the Horcon oil field to its existing Venezuela portfolio. The company plans to boost production together with partners such as Eni and aims to raise gross production in Venezuela by 50% within one year and to triple it within three years. Repsol increases adjusted quarterly profit thanks to strong industrial and refining business

Repsol reports an adjusted net profit of EUR 873m for Q1 2026, up 57% year on year, driven by the industrial segment, whose net profit rose 233%. APA stock rises after reports of merger with Repsol's upstream unit

APA Corporation's stock climbed about 4.5% after reports that Repsol is considering a reverse merger of its upstream unit with APA.
