Rheinmetall examines consequences of F126 cancellation — revenue losses of up to €300 million possible
Rheinmetall does not expect to meet the €20 billion nomination target because of the cancellation of the F126 program; the nominations volume in Q2 will be in the low double-digit billion-euro range. The trading update for Q2, with expected revenue growth of more than 60 percent, will nevertheless be met. The company estimates that, without short-term compensation, revenue effects in 2024 could be up to €300 million, and the contribution to the mid-term 2030 forecast is below three percent. Rheinmetall is examining further impacts on the full-year guidance and will give details when it publishes quarterly figures on August 6. » More on finanzen.net

Rheinmetall share recovers and climbs back above €1,000
The Rheinmetall share continued its recovery in early July, most recently jumping to around €1,040.60, putting it back above the €1,000 mark. In June, however, the stock was still down sharply by 23.5% after the defense ministry ended the F126 frigate project. Investors remain concerned about the pace of working through large order backlogs and the possible impact of shifting war priorities on the product range. » More on finanzen.net
