SBO: revenue and profit fall, order intake rises sharply
SBO reports a first-half revenue decline of 19.3% to 204.7 million euros and a profit after tax of only 0.2 million euros, while order intake increased by 8.5% to 235.3 million euros. The company cites carryover effects from 2025, operational consequences of the war in the Middle East and adverse foreign-exchange effects as causes. Since the end of 2025 SBO has observed rising demand again, particularly in precision technology and 3D metal printing, and expects quarter-on-quarter higher revenues, but considers the full-year outlook uncertain because of the Iran conflict. » More on kurier.at
ATX rises moderately, oil stocks like SBO and OMV in demand
The Vienna Stock Exchange closed up 0.26% at 6,528.16 points, with the ATX Prime gaining 0.33%. Rising crude oil prices drove demand for energy and oil stocks; SBO and OMV were among the biggest winners, and EVN and Verbund also rose. There were hardly any larger losses: AT&S and Porr slipped slightly, and Wienerberger continued its correction after Berenberg cut its price target. Telekom Austria reacted positively to published quarterly figures; revenue and consolidated profit beat forecasts, while the operating result remained slightly below expectations. » More on finanzen.net
