Schindler stock falls after revenue miss
For Q2 2026 Schindler reported a revenue decline of 0.7% to CHF 2.74 billion, missing analysts’ expectations, after which the share fell about 5.8% to CHF 245. Order intake and EBIT were slightly above estimates; the EBIT margin for H1 rose to 13.2% and net profit to CHF 542 million. Management confirmed the full-year outlook (low- to mid-single-digit revenue growth in local currencies, EBIT margin around 13%) subject to unforeseen events. Analyst cuts to like-for-like growth forecasts due to weakness in China and selective dynamics in the US service business, along with the prospect of a possible mega-merger in the industry, weighed on the stock and drove it to a 52-week low. » More on de.investing.com
