SiriusPoint appoints Mark Aspinall to lead new fine art and specie insurance unit

SiriusPoint has appointed Mark Aspinall to lead the newly formed Fine Art & Specie team, effective January 2027. From London he will build a product offering for museums, galleries, private collections, luxury dealers, auction houses and valuables-in-transit risks and will report to Chris Fenn. SiriusPoint has completed the sale of its entire stake in Arcadian Holdings to Comet Bidco Limited, an acquisition vehicle affiliated with Lee Equity Partners. The transaction closed after the satisfaction of closing conditions and regulatory approvals; SiriusPoint received cash consideration of $140 million, subject to customary closing adjustments.
