Spire Global records surge in orders and satellite expansion despite revenue decline
Spire Global reported a revenue decline to $12.7 million in Q3 2025 and a premarket share plunge of over 22%, while remaining performance obligations rose to more than $200 million. The company highlighted several large contracts (including Deloitte, NOAA, EUMETSAT), the launch of 12 satellites and the delivery of a further nine satellites. After selling its maritime business, Spire is shifting focus to weather, aviation and security data, expects revenue growth of over 30% in 2026 (excluding the sold business) and plans a substantial expansion of manufacturing capacity. The balance sheet remains debt‑free, but falling cash balances and expected losses in 2025 worried investors; operational cash‑flow break‑even is targeted for Q4 2026. » More on de.investing.com

Additionally, Spire reported Q2/25 revenue of $19.2 million (down but above estimates), a lowered Canaccord price target, a Deloitte contract to build eight satellites, an NYSE compliance issue due to a late filing, and the transport of nine satellites for an upcoming launch. » More on de.investing.com
