Salt and Sunrise consider sharing mobile antennas to strengthen position against Swisscom

Salt and Sunrise have announced a deepened network alliance to share antennas in rural and less densely populated areas and to examine a possible Multi-Operator Core Network Sharing (MOCN). Both operators will retain their own core networks, licenses, frequency control and commercial independence. Swisscom in demand after results release, leading the SMI

Swisscom rose 4.4 percent after releasing convincing business figures; EBITDAaL was around 4 percent above consensus. Swisscom increases EBITDA and operating free cash flow despite revenue decline in Q2 2026

Swisscom reports a 2% decline in revenue to CHF 3.6 billion for Q2 2026, while EBITDA rose 6.1% to CHF 1.269 billion. Operating free cash flow improved 23.9% to CHF 608 million, supported by higher income, cost savings and lower CapEx.
