Techem said that CEO Matthias Hartmann and CFO Carsten Sürig have left management with immediate effect, without direct successors. The Elevion Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Techem Solutions, significantly expanding its business in decentralized heat supply in Germany. Techem Solutions operates 2,278 energy plants with around 539 MWt of installed thermal capacity and supplies nearly 2,600 households and 150 commercial customers; Elevion aims to offer integrated solutions for heat supply, efficiency and decarbonization from a single source. Matthias Hartmann has decided not to extend his contract as CEO of Techem when it expires in spring 2027 and will leave the company of his own accord. Under his six-year leadership Techem invested around one billion euros in digitalization and achieved a share of fully digital devices of about 84 percent.
