  • TX Group increases profitability in first half despite revenue decline

    TX Group recorded a revenue decline of 5.7% to CHF 402.4 million in the first half of 2026, but achieved an adjusted EBIT (excluding one-off items) of CHF 67.1 million (+74.3%) and a margin of 16.7% (previous year 9.0%). The result improvement was driven by digital platforms and progress in media transformation, while all segments reported revenue losses, led by 20 Minuten. Due to declining linear TV revenues, Goldbach took a goodwill impairment of CHF 46.4 million, which weighed on reported operating profit with CHF -9.9 million and led to a group loss of CHF 14.6 million. Tamedia is extending the transformation period and has moved the original margin target of 8–10% into the medium term.
