Strategic bank purchase boosts Unipol stock
Unipol plans to acquire 635 branches from Intesa as part of the proposed takeover of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena and intends to integrate the bank with BPER to create a new Banca Monte dei Paschi. The transaction is conditional on the successful MPS deal; a €2.5 billion capital increase is planned to finance it. JP Morgan leads stabilization measures for Unipol Assicurazioni bond
JP Morgan SE will act as coordinator of the stabilization measures for the upcoming issuance of subordinated euro bonds by Unipol Assicurazioni. The stabilization period is expected to run from 14 January until no later than 14 February 2026; co-managers are IMI‑Intesa, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs and Mediobanca. The PNC10-RT10 bonds are expected to be listed on the EuroMTF in Luxembourg, an overallotment of up to 5% is possible, the issue price has not yet been set and the securities are not registered for a U.S. offering. » More on de.investing.com
