Vienna Insurance Group increases pre-tax profit by 20.7% to €641.5 million

In the first half of 2026 Vienna Insurance Group raised its result before taxes by 20.7% to €641.5 million on earned premiums of €9.03 billion (+5.4%). Improved investment income and a better net combined ratio (91.4%) helped drive the profit increase. Strong growth was seen particularly in Extended CEE (+98%), specialty markets (+35.4%) and Austria (+11.2%); life insurance without profit participation grew by 18.2%. Vienna Insurance pays €1.73 dividend for 2025; payout rises 11.6%

At the annual general meeting a dividend of €1.73 per share for 2025 was approved, with Vienna Insurance paying a total of €206.04 million to shareholders. The payout is 11.61% higher than the previous year, and the total distribution rises by 10.28%. Based on a closing price of €64.60 on the day of the AGM, the dividend yield is 2.57% (previous year 5.11%).
