Vodafone Idea beats expectations in Q1 2026 – ARPU rises further

Vodafone Idea reported an adjusted loss of 0.35 per share for the quarter ended June 30, beating the analyst estimate of 0.4608 per share. Revenue rose 6% to 116.89 billion rupees, EBITDA topped 50 billion rupees for the first time and the EBITDA margin improved to 43.1%. ARPU increased 10.2% to 195 rupees, subscriber numbers rose slightly to 193.1 million, and bank debt fell significantly.
