VTEX trims growth outlook as margins and free cash flow jump in Q2
VTEX reported Q2 with GMV up 18% to $5.7 billion while subscription revenue rose 11% in dollars but only 1.3% on an FX‑neutral basis amid weaker consumption in Brazil and Argentina. Management lowered full-year and near‑term FX‑neutral subscription growth guidance to low single digits, citing a faster‑than‑expected shift toward larger enterprise accounts and softer retail demand. Profitability improved materially: non‑GAAP operating income rose 62% to $13.8 million and free cash flow increased 79% to $12.7 million, supported by AI automation, cost discipline and greater partner-led implementations. VTEX said its growth initiatives—global expansion, B2B, advertising and AI—grew about 20% and now account for roughly 18% of subscription revenue, while the company continues investing to convert these into sustained revenue growth. » More on finance.yahoo.com
