EU Commission opens in-depth investigation into Goldwind over possible subsidies
The European Commission is conducting an in-depth investigation into whether the Chinese wind-turbine maker Goldwind received foreign subsidies that could distort competition in the EU single market. The probe concerns grants, tax advantages and concessional loans related to the manufacture, sale and services around wind turbines. Goldwind posted record revenue of $48.1 billion in Q3 2025 and significantly exceeded the EPS forecast with $0.2544 (expectation $0.1892).
