Yatsen boosts revenue significantly, loss widens due to higher marketing and R&D spending
Yatsen reports for Q1 2026 a net revenue increase of 22.5% to 1.02 billion CNY, driven by 58.5% growth in the skincare segment. Yatsen secures $120 million via RMBâdenominated convertible notes from Trustar Capital
Yatsen agreed to issue roughly $120 million of senior, RMBâdenominated convertible notes in two tranches of $60 million each. Buyers are a Trustar Capital vehicle and founder Jinfeng Huang. The notes pay 1.5% p.a., have an initial term of 364 days (automatic extension to five years after registration) and are convertible after the initial period at a conversion price of $4.63 (20% premium); warrants with a $0.50 strike price are also being issued.
