Lukoil reached a conditional, non-exclusive agreement with US private equity firm Carlyle to sell the majority of its international assets, including oil and gas fields from Iraq to Mexico, thousands of petrol stations across 20 countries, and refineries in Bulgaria and Romania. The deal excludes Lukoil's Kazakhstan interests and has not disclosed a price; the company values its entire international business at $22 billion.
