Vyne Therapeutics announced a definitive merger agreement with clinical biotech company Yarrow Bioscience, after which Vyne shares rose 77.9% in pre-market trading. The all-stock transaction will create a combined company named Yarrow Bioscience with the expected Nasdaq ticker YARW and is supported by financing commitments of around $200 million led by RTW Investments with participation from OrbiMed, Janus Henderson and others. Prior to closing, Vyne plans a cash dividend to shareholders equal to excess net cash of about $14.5–16.5 million; the new company’s cash balance is expected to fund operations through 2028. Yarrow intends to advance development of YB-101 and to start a Phase 1b/2b study in the U.S. in the first half of 2026, with expected Phase 1b data in the second half of 2027. » Más en de.investing.com
