DEFSEC unveiled the Battlespace Laser Identification Sensor System (BLISS), a laser threat detection system designed for soldiers, vehicles and fixed infrastructure. The system expands the existing Battlefield Laser Detection System, detects laser threats, identifies sources and provides networked situational awareness; a provisional patent application has been filed for the technology.
