Jenoptik benefits from AI boom and raises forecast

Jenoptik reports a significantly better result in the second quarter and order intake that rose by one third year‑on‑year to almost €370 million. Revenue grew 3% to €262 million, EBITDA increased 28% to about €55 million and the margin rose to 20.8%. Jenoptik raises 2026 forecast after strong first half

In the first half of 2026 Jenoptik reported revenue growth of 1% (currency-adjusted about 3%) and EBITDA of around €99m, an increase of roughly 25%. Drivers were semiconductor equipment and biophotonics, and margins improved by about 400 basis points. The company raised its 2026 revenue guidance to 5%–9% and its EBITDA margin to 20%–21%, and reported an order backlog of around €825m.
