The decline resulted mainly from portfolio revaluations, partially offset by a positive currency effect of 0.2%. The main driver was a writedown of real estate services provider Emeria due to weaker operational performance and a reduced valuation multiple; Emeria reportedly has no liquidity problems and continues to receive support. Partners Group Private Equity reports a 2.5% decline in net asset value in April to 12.26 EUR per share, driven by portfolio revaluations of -1.8% and negative currency effects of -0.7%. Two investments were major contributors to the decline: Pharmathen was fully written down after an FDA import warning, and United States Infrastructure Corporation was downgraded due to insourcing and operational problems. Partners Group Private Equity has approved a buyback program of €18m after reporting free cash flow of €24m as of 31 March 2026. The allocation was made because the shares are trading at a discount of 30% or more to net asset value. In addition, €1.6m of unused capital from an October 2025 program is being added, bringing the combined buyback volume to €19.6m, which runs until 31 July 2026.
