Serco rises after strong half-year numbers and confirmed outlook

Serco reported H1 2026 revenue of around £2.5bn (≈+3%) and an adjusted operating profit of about £155m (≈+6%). The operating margin improved to over 6%, at the upper end of the mid‑term target range. Management confirmed the full‑year guidance of around £5bn revenue, roughly 3% organic growth and an adjusted operating profit of about £300m; the order pipeline grew to £12.5bn. Serco appoints Mark Reid as new group CFO after Nigel Crossley resigns

Serco has appointed Mark Reid as its new group chief financial officer; he will join the company on 9 February 2026 and officially take the board role on 6 March 2026. Reid joins from Proximus, where he served as group CFO and at times as interim CEO of the international division, bringing more than 20 years of international finance experience. Nigel Crossley, 62, will retire after 11 years with the company following the publication of the 2025 annual results. Serco division MT&S secures US Air Force contract worth up to $972 million

Serco subsidiary MT&S was selected as the sole contractor for a US Air Force program to provide modern simulator and training services.
