SPS Commerce brings agent-based AI solution MAX and new supply-chain products

SPS Commerce announced general availability of MAX, an agent-based AI tool for fulfillment and onboarding processes, along with new products Visibility Management and Decision Intelligence. In tests, MAX helped resolve validation errors on average 29% faster, and an onboarding agent has already guided more than 300 customers to supplier readiness. Decision Intelligence and Visibility Management consolidate trading data and system information into real-time overviews; the solutions leverage the SPS network of more than 300,000 trading relationships and 750 million annual transactions. Takeover rumors around SPS Commerce drive stock higher

According to people familiar with the matter, private equity firm GTCR is in talks to acquire supply-chain software provider SPS Commerce. A deal could be announced in the coming weeks, but negotiations are not final and could fail or be topped by another bidder. GTCR and SPS Commerce did not comment on the reports; the company had reportedly already engaged an investment bank to review a sale.
