Calabrio has completed its acquisition of Verint; Verint is now a wholly owned subsidiary and its common shares have been delisted from the Nasdaq Global Select Market. Each outstanding common share was (with exceptions) converted into a cash consideration of $20.50; the total purchase price was about $1.24 billion, financed by debt arranged by Santander. Dialpad has entered a reseller partnership with Verint to offer workforce-management solutions for contact centers of varying sizes. Small and midsize contact centers will use Dialpad WFM, while larger setups will use the Verint Open Platform; agent status updates are synchronized in real time between the systems. Thoma Bravo is in discussions to acquire Verint Systems, a call center software provider, though no agreement has been reached yet. Verint recently beat revenue estimates and is benefiting from AI adoption among its clients, despite a 28% stock decline this year.
