T. Rowe Price acquires bond specialist F/m Investments with USD 19bn AUM
T. Rowe Price has announced the acquisition of F/m Investments, a fixed-income specialist asset manager with around USD 19bn in assets under management as of 31 July 2026. The acquisition is expected to increase T. Rowe Price’s fixed-income AUM by almost 9% and more than double its bond ETF volume. T. Rowe Price strengthens AI strategy with specialized investment, distribution and labs teams
T. Rowe Price is establishing several new units to accelerate its AI strategy, including "Investment AI Solutions" under Vinit Agrawal to develop agent-based AI products across all asset classes. A separate AI strategy and transformation team in Global Distribution led by Sal Dhanani will develop AI applications for client interaction and employee capabilities. In addition, "T. Rowe Price Labs" under Mathieu Lorentz has been integrated as a central innovation hub into the AI Engineering organization, and a firmwide function for AI, model and technology risk has been created, reporting to Prabhakar Bhogaraju under Chief Risk Officer Ted Carter.
