Kia is presenting the PV7 at IAA Transportation, a large battery-electric van built on the E-GMP.S platform with a modular body for various upfits. The PV7 is offered in lengths up to 5.35 m, provides up to 8 m³ of cargo volume, payloads of around 1,200 kg, and bus variants with up to nine seats. Powertrain options include up to 200 kW output, battery packs of 71.5 and 96.2 kWh and a WLTP range of over 460 km; DC fast charging of up to 350 kW is possible (10–80% in ~25 minutes). Kia is targeting commercial fleets with V2L, modular seating systems and a business portal for fleet management; prices and exact market launch dates for Europe have yet to be announced. » Więcej na heise.de

Mark Ruffalo wrote on X that Teslas are "not well made cars" and said his Kia EV "feels luxury" compared with a Tesla. Kia America is recalling nearly 463,000 Telluride midsize SUVs from 2020–2024 after the NHTSA found the front power seat motor can overheat if a seat slide knob is stuck or a prior recall repair was done improperly, creating a fire risk while parked or driving. The agency advises owners to park outdoors away from structures until repairs are completed.
