Mazda reported April global passenger vehicle sales of 92,228 units, down 9.4% year‑on‑year, with domestic sales down 3.6% and overseas sales down 10%. Consumer Reports found the Mazda CX-90 PHEV to be less reliable than the average new car, citing numerous owner complaints and safety-related recalls for the 2024–25 model years.
