SMT Scharf adopts 2026 forecast and strategy to realign toward electric underground and tunnel transport solutions
The management board of SMT Scharf continues to expect group revenue of €100–120 million for 2025 and EBIT of €0.5–2.5 million. For 2026, revenue of €95–115 million and EBIT of €1–2 million are planned. The new 2026 strategy focuses on efficiency improvements in global supply chains, integration of sites and diversification into light electric vehicles (LEVs) and battery-powered transport solutions, whose development and manufacture are to take place mainly in China.
