PLDT cuts manual effort by up to 99% thanks to UiPath automation

PLDT has deployed three AI-powered systems based on the UiPath platform across multiple business units. PLDT posts record EBITDA despite only 1% revenue growth in 2025

PLDT reported a record EBITDA of PHP 111.2 billion for 2025 on just 1% revenue growth to PHP 196.2 billion, driven by cost cuts and steady margin improvement. Digital bank Maya reached full-year profitability for the first time and contributed PHP 716 million to results, while legacy services continued to shrink. Net financing costs rose 20% to PHP 17.5 billion and net debt stood at PHP 284.7 billion (net debt/EBITDA 2.56x). PLDT reports stable revenue growth and slightly lower core earnings in Q3 2025

PLDT posted consolidated service revenue up 1% to ₱145.9 billion in Q3 2025 and reported EBITDA of ₱82.8 billion with a 52% margin. Core earnings fell 5% to ₱25.8 billion due to higher depreciation and financing costs. The company continues to invest in infrastructure and new products such as the AI platform Filipinas AI and the credit card Maya Black, and cut its CapEx forecast for the year to ₱60 billion.
