Novartis partners with CAS to prepare research data for AI

US court dismisses class action against Novartis over Entresto generics

A federal judge in Manhattan dismissed a class action against Novartis that accused the company of delaying the market entry of Entresto generics by improperly listing a patent in the FDA's Orange Book. Novartis receives CHMP recommendation for Cosentyx in polymyalgia rheumatica

The CHMP recommends approval of Cosentyx for the treatment of polymyalgia rheumatica in adults who respond insufficiently to corticosteroids or whose disease flares when tapering corticosteroids. The recommendation is based on the phase‑3 Replenish study, in which Cosentyx doubled the rate of sustained symptom freedom at 52 weeks versus placebo and reduced total corticosteroid dose, with no new safety concerns. If the European Commission confirms the recommendation (usually within two months), Cosentyx would be the first interleukin‑17A inhibitor in Europe for this indication.
