The management board of Bijou Brigitte has revised upward its forecast for group earnings before income taxes for the 2026 financial year after a previously open legal case was successfully closed in the first half of 2026. The new forecast is EUR 30.0 million to EUR 40.0 million, an increase of EUR 5.0 million. Bijou Brigitte reports revenue of €153.4 million for the first half of 2026 (previous year: €154.8 million) and a group result before taxes of €14.4 million after €6.9 million in the prior year (+108.6%). The improvement is mainly due to lower material costs and higher other operating income, including a non-recurring extraordinary gain of €5.0 million from a settlement. Group profit after tax rose to €8.8 million (previous year: €4.2 million, +111.0%). In fiscal year 2025 Bijou Brigitte achieved a consolidated profit before taxes of EUR 34.7 million (after taxes EUR 23.7 million) on consolidated sales of EUR 338.0 million. For 2026, under normal macroeconomic assumptions the group expects sales between EUR 330.0 million and EUR 350.0 million and a consolidated profit before taxes of EUR 25.0 million to EUR 35.0 million.
