Cummins posts record Power Systems revenue as dividend streak hits 17 years
Cummins reported Q2 2026 Power Systems revenue of $2.3 billion, up 19% year‑over‑year driven by AI data center backup power demand. The company turned a $1,000 investment into about $6,120 over ten years and has increased its quarterly dividend for 17 consecutive years, rising from $0.175 to $2.20. Risks include a $69 million quarterly EBITDA loss at Accelera, $458 million in hydrogen charges, potential truck‑cycle weakness, and a trailing P/E of 28 vs. a forward P/E of 16. » More on finance.yahoo.com
Cummins exceeds revenue forecast for Q2 2026 but misses earnings estimate — stock falls
Cummins reported record Q2 revenue of $9.5bn (+9% yoy) and raised its full-year revenue guidance to 10–13%, but missed analysts’ EPS estimate with $6.73 vs. $7.26. The Power Systems segment posted strong growth to $2.3bn, driven by demand for emergency power solutions for data centres. Operating cash flow reached a record $1.5bn, while the EBITDA margin fell to 17.5%, with margin pressure attributed to higher costs and tariffs. The board approved a 10% dividend increase; the stock fell sharply in premarket trading to $611.49. » More on de.investing.com
Cummins delays series start of X10 and X15 engines to late 2027
Cummins announces a staggered delay to the series production of the X15 and X10 engines: both enter limited production in January 2027, with full series production of the X10 planned for Q3 2027 and the X15 for Q4 2027. The adjusted schedule follows a review of the EPA rule proposal; Cummins intends to use available EPA implementation flexibilities and to continue offering current engines (current X15 generation, X12, L9, B6.7) during the ramp-up. The launch of the next B‑platform remains confirmed for January 2028, but the plan could change if the final EPA rule is significantly revised. » More on de.investing.com
