Deutz buys FFG for €1.6 billion and targets NATO maintenance business
Deutz is taking over Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft (FFG) for €1.6 billion, funded with roughly €1 billion in debt and €0.6 billion in new shares. FFG is expected to generate about €760 million in revenue in 2025 and has an order backlog of more than €1.9 billion, with over 90% relating to maintenance and servicing for NATO customers. The Bundeskartellamt approved the transaction without conditions; closing is expected at the end of 2026 or early 2027, and from 2027 the defence business should deliver the group more than €1 billion in revenue. » More on finanzen.net
