OHB share falls sharply after rally — profit-taking or trend reversal?
The OHB share plunged intraday by around 7.7% after a strong rally, despite there being no negative company announcement, making profit-taking the likely explanation. Many recent communications are declarations of intent or studies without revenues that can be realized in the short term; hard order intake remains decisive. The company points to its nine-month results on November 12 and the award of the Bundeswehr contract SATCOMBw stage 4 as the next milestones. Fundamental supports include a strengthened balance sheet, the IRIS² contract worth just under one billion euros and positive analyst ratings, while the share price still trades below the placement price of €300. » More on finanzen.net
OHB strengthens position in the space-defense market with stake in MediaMobil
OHB has taken a 25 percent stake in MediaMobil Communication, which provides satellite communication solutions for challenging environments, thereby expanding OHB’s presence in the space-defense segment. The stock recovered strongly from lows and broke above the 38-day moving average; technically there is further upside potential to the 200-day moving average at €260–270, while the RSI signals short-term overbought conditions. Valuation is high (P/E around 75 at €234), so high volatility is to be expected; a possible award on the Bundeswehr project SATCOMBw4 could serve as an additional share-price catalyst. » More on finanzen.net
OHB share rises after several project announcements — SATCOMBw decision remains decisive
The OHB share gained almost 18 percent within a week after the company published several announcements on ESA studies, an EU‑funded project and a stake in MediaMobil. The ESA commissioned feasibility studies for the lunar infrastructure concept OASIS, the EU funded the rocket‑engine project Eu‑BEST with €4.96 million, and OHB acquired 25 percent of MediaMobil. Further significant share‑price impulses depend on contracts not yet awarded, in particular the Bundeswehr SATCOMBw 4 programme, whose award and scope are decisive for OHB. Operationally OHB shows growth in total output and adjusted EBITDA, but net income remains volatile; analysts are mostly positive but see valuation and order risks. » More on finanzen.net
