Oshkosh Defense demonstrates secure on‑demand production of LVSR spare parts in Japan

During the Valiant Shield 2026 exercise in Japan, Oshkosh Defense produced an authorized spare part for the LVSR vehicle using the digital supply platform AdvMFG Hub in cooperation with the Marine Depot Maintenance Command and MadeHere. The same component was manufactured concurrently at the MDMC facility in Albany, Georgia, to demonstrate identical, configuration‑controlled components at distributed locations. Oshkosh takes a stake in Nextera Robotics to automate construction sites

Oshkosh makes a strategic investment in Nextera Robotics, a Boston-based AI and robotics company developing autonomous construction-site solutions. The partnership is intended to strengthen Oshkosh’s capabilities in autonomy, AI and connectivity and to integrate Nextera’s Didge platform with image-based AI into JLG’s ClearSky Smart Fleet system.
