RXO sees improved outlook from supply tightening and higher spot mix
RXO gave a more optimistic outlook at the Jefferies Global Industrials Conference, saying it is gaining market share thanks to a higher spot mix and stricter carrier vetting. Adjusted EBITDA rose from $6m in Q1 to $40m in Q2, and gross profit per load increased by more than 10% in August. Management expects 20–25% of for‑hire freight capacity to exit the market, which would drive a supply‑led recovery while demand remains weak. RXO highlights advantages from high insurance levels, technology investments, and higher margins in spot, project and managed‑transportation businesses. » More on de.investing.com
RXO enters exclusive partnership with Enterprise Purchasing Group for truck freight

The agreement includes integration with the RXO Connect platform for shipment processing, tracking and visibility, and is intended to boost efficiency and lower costs. » More on de.investing.com
RXO offsets weak freight market with brokerage growth
At the Chicago Industrials Summit, RXO reported adjusted EBITDA rising from $6m in Q1 to $40m in Q2, with a Q3 forecast also around $40m. The brokerage business outperformed the market (truck volume +2% vs. market -3%), the spot share was about 50% in July and drove margins through repricing to nearly 20%. Management sees a structural capacity reduction of up to 25% as a driver for a multi-year recovery, highlights technology and Coyote synergies, and expects last‑mile weaknesses to pressure Q3 by $3–5m. RXO is targeting an improvement in leverage (Q2: 4.1x net debt) toward ~3.0x by year-end and stronger free cash flow generation. » More on de.investing.com
