Unifi increases profitability in Q3 2026 despite revenue decline
Unifi reported a net revenue decline of 11.3% to $130.0 million in Q3 2026, with a diluted loss of $0.12 per share that slightly beat expectations. Cost cuts and restructuring lifted the gross margin to 7.0%, adjusted EBITDA swung to +$4.0 million, and free cash flow turned positive at $7.2 million. Net debt fell to $68.4 million and working capital improved, while management is investing in product platforms (Luxel™, Fortisyn™) and sustainability initiatives to drive higher-margin growth and diversification. For Q4, Unifi expects further balance-sheet strengthening and improved profitability in Brazil, a gradual recovery in Asia, and continued challenges in the Americas segment. » More on de.investing.com
Unifi beats EPS forecast, revenue remains well below expectations
Unifi reports Q2 FY2026 EPS of -$0.48 (forecast -$0.50) on revenue of $121.37 million versus expected $131.93 million. The company improved gross margin to 3% and cut SG&A by 25%, but could not maintain revenue year‑over‑year, which fell 12.5%. The stock rose in premarket trading, and Unifi expects revenue improvement for 2026 through margin-enhancing measures and expansion into military and tactical segments. » More on de.investing.com
Unifi reduces costs and increases profitability despite revenue decline
Unifi reported consolidated revenue of $121.4M in Q2 2026 (-12.6% y/y), but showed markedly improved profitability: gross profit rose to $3.6M, the adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed to $0.7M, and adjusted earnings per share improved to $(0.48), slightly better than expected. Management cites extensive cost-cutting measures that lowered the break-even from about $700M to $575M and strengthened the balance sheet (net debt down 35.5% to $75M, free cash flow +$13.3M). Unifi is focusing on growth through sustainable brands like REPREVE and ThermaLoop and on new product innovations, but sees risks from continued demand weakness and volatile tariff/trade conditions. » More on de.investing.com
