  • Bank of America downgrades Amrize to underperform, cuts price target to $40

Bank of America has downgraded Amrize from "Neutral" to "Underperform" and reduced the price target from $50 to $40. The bank cites weaker profit growth, risks in the Canadian business from U.S. tariffs, tight margins in the roofing segment and a stock it views as richly valued. BofA cut adjusted EBITDA estimates for 2027–28 by about 3% and expects adjusted EPS roughly 10% below consensus; it forecasts annual EBITDA growth of about 3% and EPS growth of about 6% for 2026–28. The bank recommends accelerated share buybacks instead of costly acquisitions and bases the new target on a sum-of-the-parts valuation using lower multiples for the business units. » More on de.investing.com

  • JPMorgan downgrades Amrize and pushes stock to 52-week low

JPMorgan cuts its rating on Amrize from "Overweight" to "Neutral" and lowers the price target from 57 to 52, citing repeated leadership changes and organizational instability. The bank points to, among other things, a second CFO change in 2026, a second head of investor relations in about ten months, a new chief accounting officer and four of five missed profit quarters. The stock fell about 2.9% to 34.13 CHF and tested a 52-week low of 33.64 CHF during the session; the decline is described as company-specific. » More on de.investing.com
