Three Bangladeshi complainants allege Barclays breached international guidelines by underwriting debt linked to the coal-fired Maitree (Rampal) power project near the Sundarbans, citing heavy-metal pollution, emissions and climate risks that threaten the Unesco world heritage mangrove forest and local livelihoods.
