Cboe completes sale of Cboe Australia to TMX Group
Cboe Global Markets has completed the sale of the Australian exchange to the TMX Group; the business will now operate as TMX Australia Exchange. Cboe says the transaction is part of a realignment to focus resources on its core business and to free up capital for longâterm priorities. Its presence in the AsiaâPacific region will be maintained through U.S. equities, derivatives, market data and educational offerings. Cboe Global Markets reports record trading volume in June
Cboe Global Markets recorded a record trading volume at its options exchanges in June with an average daily volume of 23.0 million contracts; average daily volume in Q2 was 21.9 million. A singleâday record of 33.4 million contracts was set on June 5. Multiply listed options rose to a monthly average of 16.6 million contracts (+40.5% vs. June 2025), and proprietary index options as well as S&P 500 options reached quarterly and singleâday records. Cboe Global Markets falls to 52-week low despite attractive fundamentals
