Frankfurter Leben takes over Athora Deutschland, DWS joins as investor

Frankfurter Leben is taking over Athora’s German business and will integrate around 800,000 customers as well as an investment portfolio of roughly €17 billion. DWS is participating with a low- to mid-double-digit million euro amount in the form of hybrid capital and is expected to strategically support the management of alternative investments going forward. DWS stock climbs to record high despite weaker quarter

DWS Group misses quarterly expectations, assets under management rise to record high

In the second quarter DWS Group fell short of expectations on revenues, pre-tax earnings and the cost-income ratio (60.5%); management is targeting 55–57% by year-end.
