IndusInd Bank: closing-price gap between NSE and BSE as large as it hasn't been in decades

Shares of IndusInd Bank closed at 1,002.9 rupees on the NSE after the 20‑minute closing auction, but at 970 rupees on the BSE — a difference of almost 33 rupees, the largest gap in more than two decades. Other banks such as AU Small Finance Bank, IDFC First Bank and Federal Bank also showed large discrepancies, partly driven by low liquidity on the monthly index options expiry day. Observers and market participants blame the closing auction system introduced in August, saying it hinders arbitrage and increases market volatility. IndusInd Bank submits three veteran bankers for CEO approval to RBI

IndusInd Bank has shortlisted Rajiv Anand, Rahul Shukla, and Anup Saha as candidates for its CEO position and submitted their names to the Reserve Bank of India for approval. The move follows the resignation of the previous CEO and deputy after financial misaccounting issues.
