JPMorgan Emerging Markets Trust has announced a final dividend of 1.45 pence for the year ended 30 June 2025, payable on 14 November 2025 subject to approval at the annual general meeting. The company proposes new articles of association that would allow distributions from capital reserves and provide for a first interim quarterly dividend of 1.261 pence (1% of NAV as at 30 June 2025). After a transitional period the trust plans to pay 4% of its NAV as at 30 June 2026 in dividends, in equal quarterly instalments from August 2026 to May 2027. JPMorgan Emerging Europe, Middle East & Africa Securities has appealed a Russian court ruling in a VTB Bank lawsuit over $439 million. The firm also applied for a stay of enforcement and has appealed the denial of that request.
