KAP Industrial boosts profitability and cash flow in 2026 despite significant impairments

KAP Industrial closed the fiscal year to 30 June 2026 with stable revenue of 29.6 billion ZAR, EBITDA up 13% and an operating profit before special items that rose 28%. Adjusted earnings per share excluding impairments increased 88% to 0.452 ZAR, while large impairments led to a reported net loss per share of 0.048 ZAR. Operating cash flow improved 30% to 3.933 billion ZAR, free cash flow before dividends grew 178%, and net debt fell 14% to 6.976 billion ZAR (1.8x EBITDA). Management views 2026 as the first visible progress of the planned 3–5‑year transformation and is targeting further balance sheet strengthening and a reduction in net debt in 2027. » More on de.investing.com
