Truist Financial shares rose 0.8% in after-hours trading to $50.70 after the company named Harold Ford Jr. vice chair of its wholesale banking division. Ford, most recently executive vice president and regional president New York at PNC, will assume the role on Aug. 31, report to Kristin Lesher and join the Truist Operating Council.
