Agilent reports stronger Q3, raises full-year revenue and earnings outlook

Agilent posted adjusted EPS of $1.62 and revenue of $1.88 billion in the third quarter, both above consensus estimates. The company raised its full-year outlook and now expects revenue of $7.49–7.51 billion and reported EPS of $6.18–6.21, with an expected operating margin expansion of more than 100 basis points excluding tariff effects. Drivers included strong demand in pharma, China and applied markets, price increases, volume effects and cost discipline; new products and reshoring orders are expected to provide further growth. Agilent rises after EU approval for cancer companion diagnostic

Agilent received EU certification for the companion diagnostic PD‑L1 IHC 22C3 pharmDx for use in epithelial ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer and primary peritoneal cancer. The approval allows pathologists to assess PD‑L1 expression and identify female patients who may be eligible for treatment with KEYTRUDA (Pembrolizumab).
