Danaher highlighted by Aristotle Capital for durable healthcare growth
Aristotle Value Equity Fund flagged Danaher as a core holding, citing disciplined capital allocation, the Danaher Business System, strong free cash flow and a high share of recurring consumables revenue. The letter notes Danaher’s transformation into a focused healthcare company through spinoffs and acquisitions such as Pall, Cepheid and Cytiva, which bolstered predictable workflow-based revenues. Danaher shares gained about 10.6% over one month and traded near $215 with a market cap around $155.6 billion; the fund said its overall underperformance in Q2 was due to limited exposure to the AI infrastructure rally. » More on finance.yahoo.com
Danaher shows signs of life sciences recovery after several weak years
Danaher reported improving life‑sciences trends with its Life Sciences unit delivering the strongest performance in years and bioprocessing orders growing mid‑teens, suggesting underlying demand for consumables and equipment is solid. Management said just over $100 million of revenue shifted into next year, indicating delayed rather than lost customer projects, but cut the upper end of its full‑year core revenue growth outlook to 4% due to weakness in biotechnology and respiratory testing. The company’s recovery appears broadening but remains uneven across end markets, leaving investors to weigh near‑term cyclical improvements against lingering pockets of weakness. » More on finance.yahoo.com
