Arjo increases organic sales growth, margins hit by US tariffs and currency effects
Arjo reports Q1 2026 organic sales growth of 3.8%, with adjusted EBITDA of 456 million SEK and an EBITDA margin of 16.9%. Gross margin fell by 110 basis points to 42.6%, weighed notably by US tariffs (‑0.4 percentage points), an unfavorable product and country mix, and currency effects that reduced gross profit by 123 million SEK. Regional divergence: North America +2.2%, Western Europe ‑2.9%, Rest of World +30.0% (large order in South Africa). Management announces a strategic realignment with new financial targets for the second half of 2026 and highlights improved cash conversion (52.7%) and declining net debt as signs of financial strengthening. » More on de.investing.com
Arjo: share falls after Q4 and full-year figures despite organic growth due to margin pressure
Arjo reported organic growth of 3.4% in Q4/2025 and annual sales of SEK 11 billion, but showed significant profitability pressure with a declining gross margin (44.7% to 42.1%) and an adjusted EBIT margin of 8.9%. Causes cited include currency effects, US tariffs, an unfavorable product and regional mix, and pricing pressure in the US; net debt and cash flow improved slightly. The share fell about 11% after the results; management confirmed the outlook of 3–5% organic revenue growth for 2026 and plans a strategy review with new financial targets for H2 2026. » More on de.investing.com
