StudioCanal and Michael Bond estate sue Avalon over satirical Paddington portrayal

StudioCanal and Michael Bond’s estate have filed a High Court complaint against Avalon alleging copyright and design right infringements after a Spitting Image YouTube episode depicted Paddington as a drug-taking, crude podcast host with a South American accent. The sketch, part of The Rest Is Bulls*!t series, shows a dishevelled Paddington using cocaine and making risque jokes, prompting the legal action.
