BankUnited CFO sells $164,000 of stock to cover taxes as RSUs vest

BankUnited CFO James G. Mackey disposed of 3,517 shares on Aug. 20, 2026 for about $164,701; the sale was a tax-withholding transaction tied to the vesting of restricted stock units and not a discretionary sale. After the transaction Mackey directly holds 5,420 shares and retains 26,731 derivative securities (vested and unvested RSUs). BankUnited appoints Chad Loar as head of corporate banking

BankUnited has appointed Chad Loar as executive vice president and head of corporate banking. Loar will oversee corporate banking in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Texas and the southeastern US and will report to Ernie Diaz. BankUnited approves newly amended equity incentive plan and extends term

BankUnited shareholders approved an amended 2023 Omni equity incentive plan that increases the number of shares available for issuance by 1.5 million to 2,301,549 and extends the term through May 21, 2036.
