Moody’s downgrades Bloomin’ Brands and cuts several ratings
Moody’s has downgraded Bloomin’ Brands’ Corporate Family Rating from Ba3 to B1 and also lowered the probability-of-default and bond ratings; the outlook was changed from negative to stable. The agency expects an EBITA/interest ratio below 2.0 and a debt/EBITDA ratio of around 4.0x over the next 12–18 months, citing weak margins, cost inflation and a challenging consumer environment as key risks.
